Monday February 7th, 7pm
February is Black History Month and recognizes the many accomplishments and contributions of African Americans. The lives of black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) people are so often left out of the picture. Black LGBT people have enriched our lives.
T.L. Storrs with Young Intelligent Minds in his lecture, will focus on the highly accomplished Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender men and women both past and present. Civil rights leader Bayard Rustin, community activist Mandy Carter and even the inventor George Washington Carver will be included in this outing of history.
