Equality Sports Alliance of Tulsa’s Mission Statement: To build and create a sense of community through the promotion of amateur sports, cooperation between member organizations, and grow sports for all persons regardless of age, race, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, gender identity, or gender expression.

About: In July of 2011 Tulsa’s LGBT oriented sports organizations came together with Oklahomans for Equality to form the Equality Sports Alliance of Tulsa; a group to support, promote, recruit, and grow LGBT welcoming sports in the Tulsa Metro Area. Member sports organizations work together to not only promote and support each other, but to also to coordinate schedules and provide guidance, advice, and promotional support to newly forming LGBT sports groups in Tulsa. The Alliance works to pool and share community resources and members in order to allow for maximum community participation in all sports programs.
